HR is all in the family at Barnes Dennig

In 5 ½ years as Human Resources Director at Barnes Dennig, Bill Bagley was instrumental in maintaining an award-winning culture during a period of significant staff expansion, while also implementing recruiting and leadership development programs that have provided a rich pipeline of talent. When he decided to retire from full-time work, the firm sought a replacement with a similar skill set and philosophy.

They found one with similar genes, too.

Barnes Dennig is proud to announce that Scott Bagley, an accomplished human resources professional with nearly 20 years of experience, has been hired to succeed his father, Bill, as HR Director.

For the previous four years, Scott served as Director of Human Resources at The Matrix Companies, a risk management service provider based in Cincinnati. Prior to that, he led HR consulting and recruiting engagements for numerous local, regional and international companies through Bagley Consulting LLC – where he often worked alongside his father.
.
Bill Bagley provided outsourced Human Capital Services to a number of Barnes Dennig clients during his tenure as HR Director, and he will continue to provide those services on a limited basis. Scott Bagley will lead the internal training and recruiting initiatives that have become a cornerstone of the firm’s development.
.
Barnes Dennig was named a “Top Workplace in Greater Cincinnati” each of the past two years; twice won the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility; and boasts a staff retention average of more than 93% over the past six years, compared to the national average of around 80% among public accounting firms.
